BONETTI AND ATEX SPECIFICATION
ATEX 94/9/EC Directive, as per Attachment II, defines the essential requirements for health and safety, as well as other characteristics applicable to the devices installed in atmosphere and/or environments potentially explosive. After the 30th June 2003, the introduction of the products in the UE market, their free circulation and their application in compliance with the destination within the foreseen environment, will be allowed only in case such products are compliant with the above mentioned Directive and other provisions on this issue. It is necessary to notice that the 94/9/EC Directive states, for the first time, the necessary health and safety requirements referred also to non electric equipment destined to be used in atmosphere and/or environments potentially explosive due to the dangerous presence of mixtures of air, gas, vapours, fog or dusts, and also outside potentially explosive environments if it is possible a risk of explosion, and defines protective systems and devices for the safe operation of the equipments considering such risk of explosion.BONETTI production, which includes valves, glass level gauges and magnetic level gauges, complies with the Directive and, on request, can be supplied and certified in accordance with the requirements for the equipment included in Group II, Cat.2 G and Cat.3 G. In order to assist the accurate identification based on the risk classification referred to the application, we provide a resuming table.
