PRODUCT NEWS February 2nd, 1998 One problem of Magnetic Level Gauges is to create a strong magnetic field between the magnet inside the float and magnets of the indicating magnetic scale. This magnetic field is significantly modified by the distance between the inside float magnet and the indicating scale magnets. This is the case when a thick pipe is used (Magnetic Level Gauge for high pressure and high temperature). To minimize this problem and to restore a proper magnetic field, Cesare Bonetti Company realized and patented a special device, called "Magnetic Amplifier" that, fitted on the indicating magnetic scale, is able to assure a reliable operation. This device is static, does not require any external power and is maintenace free. Thanks to this device Cesare Bonetti Company manufactured and delivered very high pressure Magnetic Level Gauges, equipped with closed sealed float, able to work with high wall chamber (special schedule pipe) and at very low specific gravity (ASME class: 2500 fully rated - fluid specific gravity: 0.47 - operating conditions: 431 bar - hydraulic test: 647 bar)
